Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Degree Online is a three-year post-bachelor’s online program designed to meet state licensure requirements for professional clinical mental health counselors in Washington state.
Our online mental health counseling degree combines academic curriculum, three required on-campus residency experiences, and clinical training experiences. It is a robust academic experience that teaches you how to engage your clientele from a holistic approach: biologically, psychologically, spiritually, and culturally.
Instructors seek to equip students to serve individuals from different backgrounds with widely different needs. Additionally, the program places a strong emphasis on integrating the curriculum with Christian worldview.

The master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Northwest University was developed to be aligned with the standards of the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program strives to equip individuals, through a distinct Christian Worldview, for service in the mental health field as licensed professional counselors working with diverse populations using evidenced-based practices and to be a catalyst in the integration of counseling, culture, and individual differences through spiritual vitality, academic excellence, and empowered engagement with human need.
Bachelor of Arts in Business Management
The Bachelor of Arts in Business Management degree online is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to pursue and develop effective business practices. These comprehensive courses are designed to equip students with a myriad of foundational skills in accounting, finance, project management, and marketing. Additionally, students will learn to pursue ethical and effective ways of conducting business in managerial and leadership roles.

Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies
The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is an individually designed major option for students who wish to create a program of study by combining selected courses from two or more majors. Students are required to identify a central organizing theme of their Interdisciplinary Studies Major and design it under the guidance and supervision of an Interdisciplinary Studies Advisor (Provost or designate). A minimum of 20 of the major credits must be upper division courses. Students meet all General Education Requirements. Courses cannot double count within the Major and as General Education Requirements.

With our Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Leadership Degree Online, you can heed your calling to the specific type of ministry that you feel called to. Though there are differences between serving in church leadership and ministering in non-church settings, they both take a person with commitment, integrity, and heart. The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership is an “in career” degree focusing on developing the personal characteristics and professional competencies needed for success and career advancement within your chosen vocation and/or place of employment. Organizational Leadership draws from a cross-section of disciplines with the common focus of practical application in today’s highly mobile and demanding workforce. Built upon a leadership core that is applicable to leading across a broad range of settings, you then coordinate with your advisor to design your academic program based on your chosen leadership path.

Certificate in Ministry Leadership
The Associate Degree in Ministry Leadership Online is designed for those who seek a broader foundation upon which to build their ministry by combining selected general education courses with Bible, theology, and ministry studies. Students in this program are eligible for federal grants and loans, and may also receive credit for practical experience and previous college courses. Many students realize that they need better preparation to adequately respond to God’s calling, but can’t devote four years to a B.A. degree. The Online Associates Degree in Ministry provides the necessary beginning training and lays the foundation to enter our Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Leadership or other programs in the future.

Northwest University is excited to announce the integration of the Master of Arts in Bible and Theology and the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership into a single, comprehensive program: the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership and Theology. This newly combined program brings together the strengths of both degrees, offering students a well-rounded education that blends deep theological study with practical leadership training.
By merging these two programs, we provide a more holistic approach to ministry preparation, equipping students with the biblical knowledge, spiritual formation, and leadership skills needed to serve effectively in a variety of ministry contexts. As the first partnership between the College of Business and the Creatio Center for Technology, Media, and Design, the MSITM program, which is offered through the College of Business, provides a dynamic blend of organizational leadership and information technology expertise. In the program, you will learn how to problem solve on the computer and in the board room.
