The Vision

FOR THE ONE is a three year generosity initiative that not only impacts Legacy Church, but reaches far beyond the four walls of our church to bring the hope and light of Jesus to THE ONE. Together, we can effectively reach THE ONE in our church,  in our community, in our region, in our world.

A Place where your friends, family, co-workers can come and experience the transformative love of Jesus. It will be leveraged during the week for training disciplines to be sent out FOR THE ONE.

Imagine what could happen if every person who calls Legacy Church home, asked God what He would have us give? This is not equal giving but equal sacrifice. For the next 3 years, we are inviting every person and family to prayerfully ask God how they can participate in FOR THE ONE through generosity above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings.

Launch Sunday is on October 18, 2026. Bring your Pledge Card and your one-time Launch Gift to help us launch the renovations for our new facility.

IF we are commiting to FOR THE ONE, how does this change my giving to the General Funeand other offerings?
During this three-year initiative, we are asking Legacy Church to give above and beyond regular tithes. Consistent tithing remains essential to support the church's ongoing ministry and operations. Special offerings are simply an extension beyond your normal tithes and offering.
Are there additional ways (other than cash) that I can give toward FOR THE ONE?
Besides committing to give a monthly gift, there are several other ways to give — appreciated stock or securities, IRA and retirement account gifts (including Qualified Charitable Distributions for those 70½ or older), investment and brokerage assets, automatic recurring giving, and real estate or property. Every situation is different, so talk with your financial advisor about what makes sense for you. Our team is happy to help facilitate any of these gifts — reach out to finance@legacychurchwa.com.
What if my finances are tight right now?
FOR THE ONE is about full-hearted, sacrificial generosity to Jesus' mission at Legacy Church. It's less about the amount and more about surrendering every part of our lives, including our finances, to Him. We're praying for 100% participation, trusting God to lead each of us in faith, sacrifice, and unity through this season.
What if I've never given to Legacy Church before?
If you have not yet given to Legacy Church before, we encourage you to start with tithing regularly. Responding to God's call to give of your first fruits, 10% of your income is essential to exercising the muscle of generosity. From there, we encourage you to step out in faith and be a part of FOR THE ONE, leaving a generational impact on our church, our community, and the world.
